The team wasn’t struggling to do the work. They were struggling to track it:
- Sales commitments reached production too late for proper batch planning
- Batch availability records didn’t always match dispatch timelines
- COA, MSDS, COO, and other regulatory documents needed repeated edits, often last minute
- Logistics updates arrived as screenshots, usually after trucks had left the depot
- Order → dispatch → invoicing → payment reconciliation was manual and time-heavy
- No shared system to track operator shifts, overtime, or training certifications
- Domestic and export enquiries were logged in different places
- Finance teams didn’t have live visibility into true cost per vehicle, per batch, or per km
Every function had data. But no function had the same data at the same time.
